The Geauga Humane Society (GHS) has a proud history of being a
leading animal welfare agency in Northeast Ohio. We began our life-saving work in 1974 when a small
group of committed animal advocates embarked on a labor of love. At the beginning the animals were
sheltered in private homes. Today, Geauga Humane Society’s shelter, Rescue Village, is a vital
center for sheltering and adoptions, humane education, spay/neuter, and humane law enforcement. The
shelter is looking for candidates who would be interested in applying for an eMarketing Internship.
Volunteer Coordinator Laura Nealy Burks says “The Intern will learn though hands-on experiences
by helping to plan, direct, and coordinate web-based marketing and publicity activities for our web
site and social networking sites.”
The intern will ensure that project goals are accomplished and in
line with organizational objectives. The eMarketing Intern develops strategies for various market segment
that address customers (donors, adopters, event attendees). The intern will work directly with the
development director, executive director and marketing committee.
To apply for the eMarketing Intern position send a cover letter
and resume to Katrina Haas, Development Director, PO Box 116, Novelty OH 44072 or email
